So the mock exams for the three accelerated subjects were completed, and I had a chance to grade them over the weekend. Remembering that most students sitting IGCSEs are about 16 years old, and that my daughter has to write at the level of the average 16 year old, I graded her mocks accordingly.
I have no hesitation entering my daughter for IGCSE English Language, and I am fairly confident that she will do well in IGCSE History, but I have concerns about her taking IGCSE Mathematics in the May/June 2016 exams as she is just not reaching her potential.
So, this week I had my daughter focus on her three accelerated subjects, English Language, History and Mathematics.
We are finding our way at the moment and I am furiously rewriting my weekly schedules and lesson plans. It is too fluid for me to share specifics :(
