ALL ABOUT EXAMINATIONS

If GCSEs, IGCSEs, AS and A Levels subjects are taken for the pure enjoyment of learning something new, you do not need to think about final examinations or assessments. However, if you want recognition or accreditation for your studying and hard work (for school leavers, graduation, employment, or entrance to university purposes), then you should be fully informed about examinations.

All GCSEs, IGCSEs, AS and A Levels have final examinations that test a student's knowledge, subject-specific skills set, and application of their knowledge to a wider field. Successfully completing examinations (at 'C' grade or above) illustrates the student's ability to reach a higher standard of learning.
